It's a terrific quilt! congratulations on your first. And yes, you can quilt it... straight lines will look fabulous on this pattern. Pull out the ol' walking foot and hop to... just think how proud you'll be when you complete the whole thing yourself.

Congrats on your first quilt. Hopefully, it will become your passion. I would send this one out to be quilted. $50-$75 doesn't seem unreasonable and the stress of quilting it might be too much at this point. Start w/a small practice quilt to become comfortable with quilting. Talk w/the LAQ to see what her suggestions are. I try to pull ideas out of my fabrics. Looking at yours, I see flowers, and wavy lines. Maybe, something along those lines. A wavy meander w/flowers scattered thruout. A nice variegated thread in the colors of the quilt (I love variegated thread). Your quilt has all straight square lines. I would like to see some movement on the quilt. Whatever you chose will be great. It was a great start, keep quilting.

Lovely quilt. I really like the colors. Speaking for me only, since it is twin size I would be tempted to stitch in the ditch and do it myself. Lovely.
