Default I did it! I finished my very first quilt!

From the piecing to the binding; it is now complete! I know it is not nearly as elaborate or beautiful as many of the first quilts I see posted here. I also know it is nowhere close to perfect (which is why I made it for the 5 year old cuz he wouldn't notice). Anyway, here it is. I wanted to thank all of you who helped me along the way when I posted questions here--This forum ROCKS!!! When I told my little guy his quilt was finished; he got so happy, took it from me and told me Miss Krysti, you did a GREAT job! (I am his stepmommy). So between hearing that and as you can see from the 3rd pic; makes it all worthwhile! Now, on to the ladybug quilt for the 7 year old girl; then maybe I'll have the guts to try something a little harder for my other girls. Ty for looking and again THANK YOU to all those on the board who helped me along the way!

Looks like you did a great job on your first quilt and he sure is happy so thats all that really counts. Nothing like a child loving our quilts to be sure. He is for sure a heart melter, those eyes, and that smile tells it all.

good for you, don't worry there are 3 kinds of quilters, art quilters (amazing), elaborate quilters (wonderful)), cuddle under quilters (Like me) You did a great job, all that matters to me is that the quilt is loved and USED
