What a GREAT thing you did, in helping a child. By the way the new you is just as beautiful, like your hair cut. :)

What a beautiful, caring thing to do, and I love the new cut. My "adopted" granddaughter that lived next door to us in NH is 13, and she is growing her hair so that she can donated it to "Locks for Love" or some such organization that makes wigs for kids. Some lucky little girl is going to get a beautiful red wig, more strawberry blonde, but beautiful hair. Her Mom said this was entirely her own idea.

My grandaughter and I both have donated hair to Locks of Love. I had cancer and knew I would have all my beautiful hair fall out, so I had it cut really short and donated the long hair. Then my grandaughter did the same to support me. Isn't she wonderful. When she got the laminated donation card she put it on her favorite things bulleting board. She had the sweetest smile on her face.

Very cool - I did the same thing a couple of months ago. Love having short hair again and being able to donate was really a good feeling.
