Wow! I just checked, and we have a local free cycle group in our small town. The general site is www.freecycle.org, then you can check for a local group. Thanks for the tip, I did not know such a group existed.

Currently on our local CraigsList is a poster offering bunches of quilting stuff, with fabric at $2 a yard. I DON'T NEED FABRIC---but I may give in and check out what she's got.
