I wanted to make a bag using the grommets and found this pattern called Duffle & Bow Grab it & Go by Common Thread Designs designed by Susan Pennoyer. It's supposed to be a dubble bag with a round hard bottom and also a backpack. I decided to make it as a regular flat bottom bag without the backpack straps.

I am giving it away tomorrow to a close friend as a thank you gift. I was her secret sister and she has given me some nice things over the last year. She is also part of my mini group. We all go fabric shopping, quilt shows, retreats and sewing at my home. She has also been there for my own personal crisis when my father passed away last month. I think she'll like it, don't you.

Now on to the Bow Tucks bag. I need to make 2 before Sisters, OR show in July.
