Default I finally found the bottom of my scraps!

The budget hasn't allowed for any fabric purchases lately, so I decided to work on my scraps. I started cutting with 10" squares, then 8", 6" and 5". Then on to 2.5" strips, cutting some down to 2.5" squares and lastly 2" strips. I really didn't think there were that many scraps but geez it took me forever! At least now I have the start of a couple scrappy quilts.

Good for you. Scraps cost the same as yardage and it is already cut and ready to go.

Should be some wonderful scrap quilting coming from all that.
I've already told family I want one of Bonnie Hunter's books for Christmas. She has some great ideas and suggestions for using scraps.

You've accomplished a lot. My scraps aren't nearly so organized. there are so many scrappy quilt patterns that would look good with them. Have fun. You'll turn them into something beautiful!

Wonderful achievement and great that you have 10 inch squares - my scraps never seem to be that large.
