I finished this - but ....

Let me just say I LOVE it! It's perrrfect! And you did a fantastic job!! Anyone would be thrilled to have this beautiful quilt...So as I have said that, I spent 10 min studying it, and the only thing I found that you could change would be that,I would have spread some of the groupings of colors out a bit more..The slightly darker blocks mixed more evenly with the slighly lighter ones.

In my opinion only....it might benefit from a larger border to balance the large number of blocks. Another look would have been to break up the blocks by placing a plain border 2 blocks in all the way around....But it is fine as it is. You should be proud...great job.

I love cats and I love your cat quilt. You did a very nice job. For me, my eye is drawn to the four center squares, which are so different than the rest of the quilt and like Mosquitosewgirl indicated, there isn't any contrast within those four. Perhaps an additional, wider border, maybe in the green fabric would have been nice.

I think your quilt is beautiful just as it is. Don't over think this whole quilting process. I can assure you your 30th quilt will look different from your 3rd. You'll grow with each one and each one will be better than the last. In time, your tastes will change too. Mine certainly did. I've gone through many phases and styles, but I love every quilt I ever made.
Hang in there and hang it proudly!
