Default I finished "Misty Pines" from Keepsake Quilting

This was a kit that my cousin bought and didn't get around to making. I was visiting her one day and she gave it to me, so I spent the whole day cutting it out. She discovered she had accidentally bought another one of these in a different color so she spent the day cutting that one out. I took mine home and made it for a wedding gift for a couple who's gift registry requested all kinds of camo. Can't do camo. Yuk. But, they absolutely loved this! Last week my cousin sent me the 2nd kit! she just wasn't motivated to do it, so passed it on to me. Yay!! The 2nd one will be for my husband. He loved the 1st one, & asked me for one. I said no. Lol! Now I can. I just did echo quilting on the trees and wavy lines on the mountains. I felt like it needed some soft curves.

Very clever way of making the newlyweds happy and making a gorgeous quilt. And you get to make DH happy too.
