I am so happy to have this top finished and ready to quilt. I am pleased with the way it turned out. I used Autumn Journey fabrics from Kansas Troubles Quilters.

I put a 1" border around each block (in either red, blue or green) then I did a 1" sashing between the blocks. Next was a 1" tan border, a 1" navy border, a 4" tan and navy border, and a 6" navy border. It ended up being 68" X 83". I am going to quilt it myself on my Bernina, but I have 2 other quilts I need to finish before I will have a chance to quilt this one.

    This BOM was really fun!!!

It came together great. Your color choices really go with the pioneer theme.

Very, very nice. I love the use of the borders. It's where I always have my doubts about what to do and what size to make them. It represents the pioneer theme perfectly.

I really like the muted colours here and the multiple 1" boarders are very effective. Beautifull!
