    Nice machine! Hope you can sew with it on occasion when she is cleaned up, etc. :)

    It's beautiful. My treadle has the same coffin top.

    Yours looks to be in working order, have you tried to sew anything yet? Could we get some closeups of the machine head please?

    I tried sewing without thread to see if everything would go through the motions. The needle goes up and down smoothly but the cloth wouldn't feed through. The feed dogs don't seem to be engaging although they are moving. The manual that came with it was very fragile so I had scan each page to make a copy I could read without damaging the original. I'll have to study it to see how to adjust the feed dogs. I'll try to take some close up pictures of the machine head tomorrow. I would love to continue to play with it tonight, but have to grade some papers, finish laundry and get ready for school tomorrow. I really appreciate everyone's interest and support! This is a wonderful board!
