    I love this little quilter. My mom and Grandmother for years visited Berea Kentucky in the fall, a chance for colorful trees and visit the many galleries.

    after an Email to the owner of one gallery from the painter's signature recieved this today !

    Yes ideed, my Father painted "Aunt Flora" around 1981 or so she was a favorite model of Dad's and my Mom's great aunt.

    Beautiful piece. I'm glad that it's been a joy.

    How wonderful to have such a piece of art! I remember your posting of this a while ago. :) I am glad you found out for sure who the painter was and heard back from them.
