All I can say is "amazing"! Basting quilt layers together is the one part of "quilting" I absolutely hate! I can hand sew bindings on all day, but I will put off sandwiching those layers for days!

Your quilt is precious! I have tried the wall method with larger quilts. I use the wall in the dining room! I push the table out of the way and move the chairs t another room, take down the pictures, cover everything with old bed sheets and off I go!

I get some looks, but I get the job done. I never thought to use duct tape. I will try that next time because I have had quilts fall halfway through the process! lol What a pain!

    The quilt sure is pretty.
it was either that, and get it quilted,
or wait until today, when i go to the community center and use the tables to pin it. can't use the basting spray there, because the smell bothers alot of the women.
now i can take it with me to put the binding on!
I tape mine to the floor to pin and tie. If I used a wall I would scratch it sooo.

hee hee hee...my wall is in my pink bathroom. My mother saw my sewing room for the first time in ages the other day...of COURSE, i had just dug everything out of the closet, looking for something and didn't have time to put it all back...then after we laughed about all my stuff, she had to use the bathroom.
She came out laughing at me having a quilt on the wall in there too!
What can I say? A mousie has to sew and even though the mousehouse is small...i just gotta!
    Love your quilt!!!!
