    Our local paper is sponsoring a prize for Black and White and Red all over. I am calling mine Spring in Black and White. The spot is not on the quilt.

    Thank you. I have wanted to do one of these for years. Someone posted a connection to a demo on how to do the blocks with 2 strips sewn together and sub-cut. I have forgotten both who had the demo and what she called it. The block is a very old one originally called kaleidescope.

    Very nice, well done. The spot is called an orb and they are a good thing. They say they are friendly spirits, so this spirit must have liked your quilt also.
