    I'm a 30's junkie and love what you just got in the mail. I think a pinwheels quilt would look great and you could use the scrapt to make the grandmothers flower garden.

    I vote for Grandma's Flower Garden although with all of that fabric you'll probably have enough for more than one project..

    And a NEW sewing machine, too?.....

    Days just don't get much better, I am getting vicarious thrills just reading about it

    Hi justwannaquilt------I am very new to Missouri (4 months now) and see you are close to St. Louis. Maybe you can give me names and locations of some quilt shops, too. have some but need more closer. Thanks................Sheila

    WooHoo!!! How very exciting for you to get a new machine and those glorious fabrics, all in one day! You are going to have to contain yourself just to be able to relax and enjoy all this wonderfulness (Is that a word??) LoL!

    I know how she feels. When I purchased my serger (In the late eighties), it remained unused for almost a year. Too much "family" was happening and I just couldn't get to it.

    Take your time and enjoy the unveiling when you can.

    I just LUV those 30's fabrics! OPEN THAT BOX and let us see!! Keep that snow up there - do NOT send it to the Ozarks - the last 4-5 days here have been gorgeous - NO MORE SNOW!
