Sorry about the quilt inspector - how are the kids? You have kids, right?
Yep, we have four kids. They're ok, it's been hubby and I that have been a mess. :?
I think the kids are kind of used to me bringing home animals that are only going to have short lives, or need extra care, they're a little more "cie la vie" than I am. I fight tooth and nail against mother nature, determined not to let her win. She always does though.

I am thinking I may put a simple flower with a couple of green leaves in the bottom corner of the border, and a few more butterflys, to finish it off.

I'd best go get dressed and get some housework done first! :-)

I never would have thought of that, but it is awesome. What a great idea.

Got the outside sashing on, but now I'm stuck..... no idea what to do for the border.

I'm thinking thin solid black strip, then....... ??

Last try... this better be the right way up!!

Ooooooooooooooh- I really like the butterflies. Perfect dashes of color. I like the idea of continuing the sashes into the border and adding a final dash of black on the outside - and a few splashes of flowers - like you're talking about in the bottom corner - butterflies LOVE some flowers. Is it K3 who is our Floral guru? Someone is bound to have a few flower suggestions.

Blue - you've taken the pressure off all the rest of us - now no one has to hurry to be the first one to finish a quilt from the black and white blocks      We didn't even hae time to catch our breath

'Slow down, you move too fast, got to make the moooooment last! Whistle down the avenue - - -"

Can't remember more at the moment, but it expresses my thoughts!

    LOL
It's been a while since I've had such a clear picture of what I want in my head, I couldn't risk mucking around and having it disappear! ;-)

I have no more black and white fabric, I'll have to go get some. But I'm thinking nothing too busy, and a very simple flower / plant design, strong lines nothing dainty. ??
