Thank You, Ditter! I am making a quilt with this block and a setting block/chain block. I have to make 15 of each kind. I have 11 of the Star blocks done and just 3 of the Chain/Setting blocks done so far. There are pictures of each of the blocks as I got them done under my topic, "The Start of another quilt by danmar". Here is a link to that post.

The blocks are really pretty and you can see them better than in the picture below. I think it will be really pretty when I get it finished.

I have the same machine. My DH surprised me with it about 3 1/2 years ago. I had hoped someday to get a "real" machine and, due to the bargain price, I didn't think this was it! So I decided to be gracious, say thank you, and just use it until it broke and then get a good machine. Well, it's doing a great job! I've had no problems with it, other than my own inexperience. I have no need yet to look for another machine. This one's been a keeper!

Isn't it heaven when your machine runs smoothly? Your blocks are lovely and so colorful.

Yes! I am in heaven! It is soooo nice to just 'sew' and not have to rip out half of what I did! I can get so much more done, plus I don't have all the aggravation, depression, and frustration. So far, this machine is definitely a keeper! Thank you for the compliment too. I love the blocks. I am going to finish #12 that I am on now then make up a bunch of the setting blocks. I think it will good great!
