Yes...you should...and sit very low too...but I did get mine on sale and with a coupon. I usually wait until my LQS has a class and she always has class coupons for anything in the store. Then I used that coupon through the mail from Bernina.

I would think they fit the new Bernina as I was told that all the feet that fit the Artista/Aurora fit the new 820/830s.

You want the feed dogs up so they help feed the fabric through.

I'll try to do a video today...we'll see how that works.

How much? Is that a rude question?

I have never even seen a foot like this one. I love any gadget that is functional and makes my life easier.

This looks really, really neat. I found just a short video on the Bernina site.

I had to go look at the number...its a Bernina foot..number 55. Its called a roller foot. Your Bernina dealer will have it. I don't know if they are made for other machines, but I'll bet they are. It could be called a leather foot or roller foot or even an applique foot. It really did make quick work of all the flowers on the table topper that I just finished.
    :-D
I have a Janome and I wonder if they make that type of foot for it. I imagine the Bernina and Janome are not compatable. Darn those dealers anyway!

Yvonne...I'm so glad you found that video..I was going to go look today too. I did try to do a short video..did ya'll know its almost impossible to try to sew and hold the camera at the same time???

I tried though and here is the result if it works.

Sandpat, Thanks for the video. I am impressed you could sew and video both at the same time. I was a little concerned for your fingers though! It's amazing that that little wheel can make it that much easier to sew around curves.
Thank you again, you talented lady!
