I had no idea he'd love it so much-manly quilt

Love the quilt!!! I made a memory quilt for my cousin whose DH passed away young and unexpectedly. He was a huge hunter (I think turkeys were his favorite), but anyway. I used camo batik fabrics. I decided to make a center section of a cross from flying geese, loved the idea but funny thing about camo, IT WORKS!!! You had to get really close to even see the flying geese, even though they were two very different camo fabrics. who knew? tee hee

Obviously, you are both tuned in to each other. What a perfect quilt for your DH! Quilts were always intended to provide warmth, and later evolved into things of beauty. But, what you did for him is obviously a thing of great beauty in his eyes, and that is what is important. Congrats on the great reaction, and congrats on having an obvious keeper.
Tying bread twisties and putting down toilet seats are immaterial when you have a man with a loving heart.
