Good job--just shows that it doesn't have to be a complicated pattern and your points don't have to match just so to be loved and appreciated. I hope he wears it out!

How sweet - it warms the heart to be so appreciated. My DH only got jammi pants this year (had to squeeze them in between the four grandkids jackets)- maybe next year it will be a quilt.

My hubby rarely reacts with entheusiam when I make him something. But many times I have walked up to him while his is 'bragging' about the quilts I make to others ... almost to the point of embarrassment. He tells everyone I got a blue ribbon at the state fair with my first quilt. Well, I did but it was the 'first time quilters' category and I had chosen a pineapple log cabin. I often times think I won simply because it was such a complicated quilt compared to the others that were entered.

    Aren't hubbys funny creatures.

What a great "manly man" quilt! I love the Snoopy on the label - a remembrance of his brother and a touch of whimsy to bring out your dh's "inner child"...

Sometimes the simplest things are what they really want. Lots of happy moments for you.

Wow, I did not expect his reaction christmas morning...He actually teared up and hugged me off my feet ( did i mention for a biker looking dude, he's extremely sentimental lol)
Every morning since, he carefully folds up that quilt and says.."I looove my quilt..Best present I got baby..And it's big enough to fold up in and so warm its like snapping an airtight coffin closed ha"...If no one ever appreciates a quilt I make from now on, I'll be ok with that (smile)...:: pause ::.... ok, no I won't but, his reaction sure will help lol
