I've been happy for so many of you who've had fabric angels. Today one found me. She gave me - are you ready - over 80 yards of fabric. I still can't believe it. I'm attaching pictures. There's more I'll go back and look at another day.

She works and teaches at an LQS and has a bigger stash than she can use in her lifetime, so she is paring down what she KNOWS she won't use. Some of this fabric came from bolt ends, some from people who've given it to her over the years etc. I don't remember all she told me, because my head was swimming. I recognized some of the fabrics , and some of you probably will, too. I didn't take oranges, and there were no blues. She must love blues like Terri and I do!

I'm attaching 2 pictures - the sorted stacks of 1 yd and larger pieces, and the boxes and bags she gave me stacked up on my laundry table. Ill add another note and do another attachment with the pieces smaller than a yd.

the sorted keepers 1 yd and larger

Here's a picture of the pieces of fabric that are less than a yard. Again, some of you may recognize some of them. I kept a few of the older ones that came out in the 70s, the tiny calicos. I actually still have some of those in my stash.

I'm trying to attach a picture of the smaller pieces she gave me. Again, some of you may recognize calicos from - gulp - the 70s! I do.

What a haul! I think your angel knew these pretty fabrics would find a good home! We're all kind of partial to our fabrics! Have fun creating!
