Beautiful! Do you take your mirrors to the fabric store with you?

Beautiful.... I love the colors. I want to do one of those, someday. Is there a lot of fabric waste?

Is there a book or pattern for this or is it a Stack and Whack?

I love the blocks that came from your fabric! Good eye. The quilt will be beautiful. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

Look at your fabric at the cut edge. Pick something in the design that is obvious. Look at the adjacent object. Follow it down the length of fabric. You should be able to see the repeat. Hints. Some designs repeat every 8, 12, 16, 24 and so on. Keep looking. You will find it.

Maxine Rosenthal has three books - "One Block Wonders" (2006), "One Block Wonders Encore" (2008), and "One Block Wonders Cubed" (2010).

I have the 'Cubed' book - the explanations are very clear, instructions easy to follow, well worth the purchase - or see if your local library carries any of them, or your local quilt guild library has copies :)

The technique is straight sewing, no y-seams.

    Careful tho, very addicting!! lol
