Very nice set up for both rooms. You're so organized. The floral wall hanging is just gorgeous. Happy quilting.

Karla, looks like you have more room and organization. Love your sewing room. Don't you just love walking into a clean, straight space?

You are one lucky lady! To have a library and a sewing room is just wonderful, isn't it? I am just as lucky, I was an English teacher and am now a librarian, and I donate books to my school library when I need to clear out stuff. I love the way you organize strips....I'll have to get my husband to make me a strip ladder.

Oh yes!! My old sewing room was so small--I had to keep it somewhat organized or I'd have gotten lost. I like a neat place to work. Hubby's closet is in this room (this is an old old house), and he likes things so neat they're spartan, so I will work to keep him from cringing when he walks in there.

I teach 5th grade, and have a huge classroom library, all organized by author or titles or genres. Many titles went to school to fit into the library there, or they'll be put in the end of year auction.

The ladders are antique wooden ones. My son had an antique store when he was a teen, so I got some for Mother's Day and my birthday. Perfect for a strip quilter!
