    What a wonderful thoughtful daughter you have. I had tears in my eyes as I read the things on the quilt, that gorgeous quilt.

    That is a lovely quilt, and you must be a marvelous MIL to her..sometimes it doesn't happen like that, but you must be doing something right.

    i got that purple batik from fabric.com it was on sale i loved it so much i went back and ordered some more i just had to have another yard i used almost every scrap in this quilt. i pulled everything but that and the panel out of my stash. i guess we see i like purple ))). i sewed all the love and prayers i could muster in every stitch. i really enjoyed making it.

    Beautiful quilt and great DIL. I lost my husband to cancer also. He got to sleep under a quilt I had just made before he died.
