The little clip under on the left of the cabinet is to hold the oil can "Singer" that is!! Sometimes you can find them on ebay! Lovely machine and cabinet. I have several and love them all and enjoy all the beauty of them.

Congratulations. You really did good. Be sure to put a note in it somewhere that says how collectible it is and how nicely it sews. I have one that my mother bought in the late 40's and sewed all my clothes on it and I used it to make my clothes in highschool. I think it still has the best stitch for straight stitching. I have even used it for free motion machine quilting. My cabinet isn't in as good shape as yours though. People have no clue what they are giving away when they sell one of these.

For the belt, you can probably go to your local vacuum or sewing center and they can order you one if they don't have it. I actually can't imagine today's Singer company having it, but they might.

    Congratulations

Whoo Hoo, tht is one beautiful little old machine. Anything I find is mired in grime and has been totally abused. No, that is not quite right, not too long ago I spotted a 15-90 and bought her on the spot. She was immaculate and sewed a perfect stitch on the first try and she too is in a Queen Anne table with the knee control and had all her pieces parts including original manual with her. I felt blessed that day, I be you do too.
