I have just seen these recently and thought they were so cute. I have seen a pattern for one that has a pocket over to the right of the pad and you can put a spoon and a tea bag or something like that in it - or cocoa or apple cider if you are not a tea drinker. I might make one for each of my daughters for on their desk at work.

I like the little house and tree one. Looks like a good idea for a small stocking stuffer. Good idea and so cute.

I love those! did you find the mug first and then choose fabric to go with them?

I usually have a mug first and then try to match fabric to it.
But on the black & white one I already had the b&w print fabric, leftover backing from a quilt, then I saw the mug and thought 'Wow! that looks like that fabric I have!' It was a pretty good match, I think.

I love the mug rugs!! What a quick and easy gift, and maybe just easy enough to inspire us to do larger projects.

    What size are your?????
Cute Cute idea - especially if you get the mugs first and make the mat coordinate with it.

In my case I'll throw a few dollars in it and call it their Christmas gift. (I'm sure they'll appreciate the $$$ more than the mug and rug so I'll keep it simple!)

    Thanks for the idea.

(I'm sure the rugs can be any size we want or have time/ material to make.)
