Okay do you want me to tell you my secret to making a scrappy.............A good Long Island Tea and always several pitchers!!!
I love your quilt but its an organized scrappy and works really well.
I like the "cut up everything in your stash and go for it" kinda scrappy. I have three I am going to work on when I get a chance after restoring a few sewing machines.

It's actually very pretty! But I don't like scrappy a lot of times. Some I do.
If you bought a collection from 1 fabric line, those always need a couple extras thrown in. Because they are all so similar, one fabric line doesn't always look good by itself.

I really like it too! Love the chocolate and teal together, like the arrangement. Yup, it's all good.
Did you have to pinch the cat to get that expression??
I'm glad your LQS owner issues these challenges for you!
I do like the idea of separating into light/med/dark scraps then pulling randomly.
Enjoy the FMQ practice :)

Well, this is a problem I TOTALLY understand!!! I'm so OCD that I'd given up on doing anything scrappy. Then last week, i saw a link here that lead to a huge list of adorable pin cushions...hmmmm. Made a few pincushions, and had pretty little crumbs all over my table, so i bit the bullet and sewed them all together. Now, I love scrappy! I'm hoping that this feeling lasts, though...my pincushion is only 4 inches square!! Baby Steps!
