I know where you are now. I hate walmart and seldom ever go in there, but my hd loves to go there. , If you have never been to Paduka Handcocks you are missing a treat, there is so much beautiful material in there I got out of there with 400.00 worth of the most georgus batiques. I plan to go back next fall if I am able.

I also looooove Marshall's! I'm about two hours away and it's an awesome one-day trip! I always start there everytime I have a bigger project, then I don't have to shop anywhere else! Did you also have lunch at Elizabeth's on Main Street? Once we had to leave our basket at Marshall's, go to Elizabeth's for lunch, then go back to finish shopping! It's best to have a list of what you need, because I get a bad case of sensory overload everytime I go.

True story: The lady who does my quilting takes a horse trailer to Marshall's and fills it with batting (which she supplies for the quilt price) and fabric. Several of the LQS also buy from the wholesale side at Marshall's. I like the $1.00 bargain table with misprints. The fabric is usually good quality, but has perhaps 2 - 6" of misprint on one side. Works great for piecing.
