    The quilt guild I belong to had a guest speaker, Sue Nickels at our meeting last Thursday. On Friday she taught a class in raw edge applique. This was my first attempt at doing this and I love it. She was a great teacher. Her presentation was great. You were able to see everything she did step by step as she had brought a document camera and projector and as she worked you could view it on a screen. It was wonderful. No crowding around a table trying to see. Her website is www.sue-nickels.com
    Here is a picture of my first block. I think I might make it into a table runner.

    I have a stupid question :oops: Is raw edge applique...applique that you apply to the fabric with a stabilizer and then sew down ?

    That would make a beautiful table runner. We don't have classes of any kind around here. I would love to be able to take a class.
