I've also seen the block where it was not connected to the next block diagonally but had sashings and the blocks were disjoined. I sure like the one I did the most as it eliminates the need for sashing and others may have to square it up, but I sure did not squaring up and loved the way it turned out so nice and square for a change. haha. Thanks again for your help in naming the block.

p.s. I'm saving everyone $9 by using my own pattern!

There are different names and variations of the Aunt Sukey's Choice block. Here's my response to another quilter's query about it:

Scrappy is my favorite, and I'm working on my 4th scrappy now. This one will be added to the "wanna-do" list, until I"m out of scraps (like that will happen - not) I love your project.
