The first Hunters Star quilt I made was paper pieced with a pattern from Judy Neimeyer. I had only been quilting for a couple of years and could never have made it without paper piecing. It was easy, and turned out great. I love Judy Neimeyer patterns cause she supplies all the copies of the paper that you need for the quilt. And she has great, detailed patterns. I saw her at Quilt Market and they are developing a whole new way to paper piece. I can't wait till it comes out. Her website is www.quiltworx.com. I attended one of her classes and it was great. I would recommend it to anybody - even first time quilters.
