    Very cute deema! I guess you and I must be on the same wave length, I cut out some mitts this week too. I have a mccall's pattern I used, but, I made the thumb a little larger and rounder on the tip.
    Funny I guess we are just home bodies... LOL!

    yours turned out so nice..the first ones i made, were sad looking..the thumb part, kind of bunched up at the curve..
    and i would make potholders to match! love the fabric too!

    Oh wow. I just made (short long story) some apron panels for BFFs mother with alzheimer's, but I cut the aprons off just below waist height - BFF uses them as bibs for her mom but they are colorful and pretty and feminine and matronly and not embarrassing -
    and the panels had some leftover pretty printed bits as well as some printed oven mitt sections!!
    I never made them because I thought it would be hard.
    Now I shall do!!

    Ok: you have an inner fabric lining layer, 2 layers cotton batting and layer insulbrite, and the printed outer later -
    Right?
    And then you trim close to the stitching, clip around the inner and outer curves -
    Right?

    I'm so jazzed.
