Great fabric choice, and you did a fantastic job of quilting it. What size laptop is it for? I just made a netbook case for a friend, where I ended up adding a strap as it's only a 10" netbook. Mine had basic diagonal piecing and very simple quilting, plus the strap and some velcro to fasten, but otherwise it was the same design as yours in terms of shape and so forth. I absolutely hated working around the curves at the bottom of the sides, how did you find it?

With the FMQ - and I so wish that I knew how to use a machine when I see quilting like that! - did you improvise it, or mark it up a bit as you went along?

The fabric is a printed fabric. So I quilted it along the pattern...and a bit improvised the areas. It was easy so...

Very cool. You've made a very attractive sleeve and the quilting is excellent! I made one for mine too and I LOVE it!
