the adult size is about 6" x 60"
the toddler size is about 4.75" x 35" i just measured it.
it is done with scraps, on warm and natural batting, the stitch and flip way.
then you sew the top to the bottom flannel,right sides together,leaving one or both ends open..
turn it inside out and turn the ends in, and stitch up..
or add fringe like i did.
I got the little boy fabric at hobby lobby..i made a little pair of jammies out of it year go..this was leftovers..

What a great idea and gift! You can definitely personalize these by the fabric you use. And boy, in the Winter when it is so gray, gray, gray, wouldn't it be nice to have all this color around you neck? Love it! Thanks for the link and photo.
