Red fabrics are like bandits, they hit and run.

I would get Grandma's spot remover. It says it will not take color out but I had a similar thing happen. I used the Grandma's spot remover on it and the color came out. I also used the color catchers in the wash to catch any other loose reds. I came out fine. I hope this will help you too. I think most LQS's have it. Ellenor Burns advertises it on her show. Give it a try.

I agree. The first one was beautiful, but I prefer an older, antiquey[Spelling???] look, but that's my personal opinion. Is it flown like a flag or hanging on the house somewhere?

I agree! I think it looks very natural.
I like the way it looks "old"! You know people try to make new things look old, you just did it by accident!

my first thought was that you should tea dye it to make it look even more antique and that will finish it off great.

Color catchers have worked for me before, especially since you didn't put it in the dryer. Good luck!!!!

Nope, stay away from bleach. Wash it again, and yes, don't put it in the dryer. Keep washing it, the colour keeps coming out, put some salt in your wash water, and did I say, keep washing it until the run colour comes out, then wash it with some vinegar in your wash water. This has worked many times for me. Auntie B

I love it just the way it is. It's got that antique look now. I hope you can fix it so that you will love it. Good Luck. It really is pretty in both pics.
