I might exchange the dark block in the lower right with the light one in the center. Hard to visualize, but it would seem more balanced to me.

Newbie or not, always trust your eye! Most of us have put quilts together the "right" way----only to wish later that we'd done it differently since we'd like it better our own way! :)

Why don't you randomly move them around until you have an arrangement that you like? For me, I'd have to balance the black in all four quardrants of the quilt until I liked it, or the black will overwhelm the pinks....

I think you can just click 'reply', add your new post and new file attachment from 'browse' option once the picture is on your computer. Don't use 'quick reply', click only on 'reply' from a post to give full options. Hope that makes sense.

here are some more arrangements that I have come up with. #3-I know that the black square on the bottom is wrong, I can't believe how many I did wrong. LOL! Anyway they are now fixed. So please give me your input on these layouts. DH likes #1, I am not sure yet which one I like.

    2. Gray square center on top & bottom rows

    3. Empty space would have another black square

I love, love, love #2 in the new arrangement photos. It looks so planned and beautiful! I'll be watching to see what you decide.

Of the new arrangements, I like the first one best. You have worked hard and it shows!
