    I agree with Grambi. For me it is the 2nd quilt, but the center white star needs to be in the bottom right corner. Thus the black pieces would move up where the star was finishing the black that is needed there. Just my opinion. There are a zillion ways to lay one out. Do what makes you happy!! Enjoy placing the blocks in various ways till you find the look that is right for you.
    Now, I see DebLuvsQuilting's design. I love the one on the left!!!

    I love the second one, just can't figure out why the 4th corner is not like the other three and the center block. I think that would add more symmetry.

    for some reason I am not understanding what you are saying. The blocks in the corners are the same? I keep looking at #2 to see what you guys mean but for the life of me I just don't understand.

    I agree, I like the 2nd, IMO seems more interesting and draws my eye to view the whole quilt rather than just to the middle.
