I'm for the zebra print in a narrow sashing AND as a heart in the center block of each section

I also have all the pinks in the squares and more white. Please help!
I think the black and black and white zebra should be added as sashing and cornerstones. Here's a couple pink, black and white quilts I dd.

I'll confess...I sketched this out in church and came home and tried it out. This might become the general layout, not sure about the border yet. White sashing around 4 squares, then pink in between. I really want to stick with the pink and white, with a thin zebra binding on the edge, and the zebra backing.

Then it would be like a reversible quilt, one side soft & pink, the other, bolder, with the zebra print & pink! Just my thoughts.....
I like this idea. The best of both worlds!

This would be nice with some what darker sashing around the heart blocke to off set the pale pinks, or use a darker background for the hearts to sit on.

I like what you have come up with. There are plenty of ideas here to give you food for thought. It is a pretty quilt. I was wondering if doing the zebra binding will be a little distracting since there won't be any in the actual quilt but it may not too. Have a play. Lovely work and look forward to seeing what you come up with.

You people are awesome!!! I am enjoying this quilt adventure. The baby shower is Sept 18, so I'm trying to finish it in time to mail to IL. If only I didn't have to use up almost all my energy teaching school all day! I put 4 squares together like aunt bea suggested into a flower shape, but sashed each heart square with white. I'm liking it so far!

I love the softness of the colors you have. I may use a little deeper shade of pink for sashing. Otherwise don't change it. Love it.
