Thanks for the compliments! :oops: It was one of those BOMs. My mother decided that I was going to make it for her :roll: With hers I just sort of meandered through the quilt (trying to get it done for Christmas last year) With this one, I wanted to try something different.

how big is the quilt?

Aggi, it's laying on a queen-size bed. Since it comes to the edges of the bed, I guess, maybe a double.

I would do snowflakes and trees, but in a neutral color so that it's there, but subtle.

Maybe some echo quilting or meandering quilting to fill out some of the negative background spaces. Candy canes, snowflakes, circles, hearts, those are motifs that come to mind at the moment :) oh and squiggly lines...they are just fun!
