I think the colors look good together.

I have made three or four quilts and table toppers using this pattern - I love it.
One thing I have done is keep the inside star colors close to the same - then the outside box doesn't show up so much - its one of those patterns that can look different depending on the colors and placement. I think you did a great job. Just keep going - when you finish and get all the blocks together - it can look completely different. Good luck.

It looks great to me. Color, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. So go with what YOU like. There are no quilt police here. LOL

I think it is very pretty. I like the colors, too.

I think you do very well with colors. I will admit colors can be intimidating to me too. I'm a beginner and am uncertain of my color choices at times also. I'm working on a Log Cabin that's I'm still not certain I chose the right colors but only time will tell. I think it looks great and I like the pattern. I find it interesting that the pattern changes with placement as suggested up above. I will have to try this pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Do you lose your status, I am listed as Senior Member right now.
I will be going on vacation to TN and won't be back until end of Jan.
I will try and get on there but maybe I will not make it what happens then??
Can someone explain what this post is about? Are we suppose to vote?
    Thanks,
    Nancy
