    I would use the same beige or tan and the center of the blocks

    I agree the white is too strong, use the center color or muslin.


    What if you used all the light background blofks in the center, surrounded by burgundy onthee eoutside, creating a border effect. Then use green & black for a border & bind in burgundy.

    Not a fan of the black at all. I do like the brainstorm sashing, and would love to see a pic of it alternating sides like previously suggested. Then maybe the unbleached muslin for border?

    I agree the white looks best and burgandy would be a great sashing. Black might be a bit bold next to the white, if you want darker maybe the green in the flower blocks?

    I like the brainstorm. IMHO the white makes the design pop. I am not sure the cream wouldn't make the design fade into the background but I think the burgundy alone is too dark.
    But as I have also learned quilting is art and you are the artist...do what you like...it will be beautiful!

    I would alternate the burgundy and unbleached muslin for backgrounds and try either green or black for sashing. I really like the burgundy but think it would be too dark if all squares had burgundy for background. Just my opinion.
