    I would go with a warm white/off white back ground. Have you considered gold/yellow sashing? Draw out the warm yellow from the floral. It might make for a very warm/happy quilt.

    grab a couple more colors from your stash and lay them on them. I would try a soft green and maybe a tan, just audition a few fabrics. You are not limited to these two

    I think the off white background works best. Your colors will stand out.

    I love the burgandy and white squares. Not sure about the black sashing...but I don't use much black...can't see very well when sewing on black.

    I think the burgundy needs to be a lot darker as it is the same mid - tone as the rest and they blend in too much. Otherwise, go with the white as it has the right amount of contrast.
