    if your grandson doesn't especially like the top, he can turn it over and use the other side. i think dh or other males just might think that any quilt it too girly! poo poo on them! i think that your grandson will appreciate that you made something just for him.

    Let me tell ya, that dorm bed won't get made any way. When it lays there all scrunched up, it will be just fine. And I don't it's too girlie anyway. If you should do something like this again, have the person wanting it done or the one to use it specifically what they want. I think you're a dear to do it, period.

    I think the colors are fine for a guy. Dark enough not to show dirt, probably won't get washed much.
    And enough color not to be drab. Great guy pattern.
