Because I am not a huge fan of football games I decided to spend my afternoon "just looking" around in Walmart (particularly the fabric section).
Well, the prices of fabrics were up there along the same lines as Joanns'.
However, there was a shelf with 'marked down' bolts. As I said before, I only went to look but came home with 12 yards of materials, but hey, wouldn't you at $1.50 per yard? This was a good day to "just look".
I know some will not like my choice of colors but I am pleased and sure I will find some use for them. :D

Some of the $1.50 fabric's that wm gets is really nice. I am always checking it for solids.
I have the first fabric in the picture but it didnt come from from wm. Honestly I think it is ugly but I like it. You got a nice selection.
