    Thanks, I just want to use up a bunch of scraps so I'm going to make it aproximately 60 X 70. Have no idea what I'm going to do with it afterwards. And I pray it looks decent because I am not good at scrappy! I lean towards themed and balanced :( Must be the Libra in me.

    Thanks. You don't need a tool, just measure the backing 1 inch larger than your batting, is what I did.

    Here is row one done. My blocks are 8-1/2 X 8-1/2.
