My LQS is having a 50% off members sale, three days only, 50% off ALL reg. price *everything*! So of course I went...the fabric I was looking at for a quilt for MIL was $13/m and would have cost me a fortune! And since it was 50% off, I picked up things I knew I was going to buy anyway...but cheaper! LOL A bigger cutting mat and ruler, extra blades for my rotary, additional fabrics for my DS's quilt...So all told, had I paid full price, I'd have spend $300! Instead, I spent $150 (and a good portion of that was just the mat, ruler and blades). The fabs on the right are for MIL's quilt, the red and orange are what I got to go in DS's quilt...and everything else!

So happy for you!!! Bargains are a big help both monetarily and psychologically. They make you feel good. I LOVE the fabrics for you MIL's quilt. Esp the one with the gold kaleidoscope pattern. It's so beautiful. Can you tell me the name of it or the manufacturer? Thanks.

Our LQS is closing and is having a 45% off sale. I stocked up up everything. Now I just need to live long enough to use it all.

Seems it's a print manufactured exclusively for my fabric store, which is only in Canada, and not available online... :( Sorry I couldn't help you more!

But yes, I love them too...I'm really hoping I have enough left over to use some for myself...LOL I calculate my yardage, then round up by half a yard to make darn sure I don't run out lol I may not have enough for a nice big quilt (like the one I'm making for MIL), but I should be able to do something with it!
