    How lucky for you, its very pretty. I feel so sorry for quilts when I see them in the thrift stores...my 1st thought is someone put alot of heart into this and this is where it ends up?

    Last year I saw a hand sewn catheral window quilt in the local Goodwill for $100. I'm sure it was worth waaaaay more than that. If I was a collector I would have scarfed it up in a minute, but I couldn't justify it for myself. I just hope the Goodwill eventually got the full price for it so they could continue their good work.
