    I would get out my trusty seam ripper and have a do-over. No one will know, but I would know, and every time I looked at that quilt that's all I would see.

    If that were mine (thank goodness it's not) I would feel compelled to tear off the 4 patches and re-sew them where they belong. It is going to be a beauty when done. Good luck to you!

    oh crap - that is something i would have done and realized too late after a whole pile is finished! I like the opinion of some that you should just make it your own block, but it would probably make me crazy knowing how it should be so i would be seam ripping!
