    Default I Spy Pattern

I have had a lot of requests for the pattern I used in my I Spy Quilt shown in an earlier post 'Sewing Weekend'.

This pattern was a loose leaf sheet in a old pattern folder I got from an estate sale and most of the patterns were around the 1980s era. There is no indication as to what book the pattern came from and I have tried to find it on the internet but to no avail. I call it Sunday Special because I drew the foundation pieced block up on a weekend . I would like to really know where it came from originally.

The pattern was for the quilt to be hand pieced using templates but I drew it up so I could foundation piece the blocks. I tried a smaller version in the red/white/black quilt then enlarged the block to make the I Spy quilt.

If anyone knows the book the pattern came from and/or the author, please let me know.

Great I Spy design. Thanks for the pattern. I wonder if it might have been for paper piecing as the pieces could all be piece outward from the center shape.
