    Last night when I was in chat someone asked about making a similar quilt so I quickly posted the picture. This morning I finished the companion quilt.

    I used the pattern called Holy Moly from Evelyn Sloppy's book 40 Fabulous Quick Cut Quilts.

    Here is the story behind these 2 quilts. A friend is adopting brothers ages 7 & 9. I wanted quilts similar so there wouldn't be any rivalry but I wanted them different so they could tell them apart. This is what I came up with.

    I went ahead and put the original picture up again so you can see them side by side.

    I love your take on the I Spy quilt idea... :lol:

    I like the bigger blocks with the sashing and on center squares---

    Hm....another one for the list, I think my GS needs ones

    time to buy more fabric......lol
