I think this is a great idea. That's probably what I would have to do to get it done. It's hard to get back on track once you've become discouraged, so doing other things along with this one may help to get the job done faster. I think it's a rather interesting quilt, althought I don't think I would be able to keep focused on those small pieces.

You know how important it is to love what you are working on. If it has been sitting that long and you really don't want to work on it then start another one. It would be diffrent if you were almost finished with it and just couldn't go on. It looks as though this was in it's beginning stage and it is ok to let it go and start a new one.

What size is it? You said the blocks were done. I'll finish it for you.

Thank you but I feel like I need to do it myself now. I promised myseft to finish all my UFO's before starting anymore projects. That is what made me pull this quilt out and look at it again. I am gonna do as some have suggested to do and work on it slowly inbetween other projects. Hope fully I will have it done by Oct. so I can send it to my BFF. I don't know what I will do about getting it quilted, Thought I might just tie it.

If you have a design wall, put it up and then you can grab a few blocks now and then. It will go fast. Plus, if it's up, you might find out you like more than you thought.

It's a really nice quilt but I've been there also and sometimes it's best to just put it aside and not work on it when you feel pushed to do it.

On point is not easy I have done a few. If you don't like it take your blocks and just make a square one.

Looks like a great quilt. Love that antique look. I say work on it a little at a time every day and see how it goes.
